What Is the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Program?
The TPI program is the gold standard in golf fitness and injury prevention. Backed by decades of research on how the body influences the golf swing, it uses a detailed 16-point physical screening to assess mobility, flexibility, strength, and stability from head to toe.
Dr. Randy conducts this assessment to identify areas of weakness or imbalance that may be limiting your swing efficiency or causing pain. From there, he designs a customized corrective exercise and mobility program, delivered through the official TPI app, to improve your biomechanics and optimize your swing mechanics.
What Does the TPI Assessment Include?
Your comprehensive evaluation will measure:
- Spinal and hip mobility
- Shoulder and thoracic rotation
- Core stability and strength
- Lower body control and balance
- Posture and alignment patterns
These insights reveal how your physical limitations may be affecting your swing path, power, or consistency, whether it’s early extension, reverse spine angle, or loss of posture.
How Chiropractic Care Supports Your Golf Game
As both a chiropractor and TPI-certified provider, Dr. Randy is uniquely positioned to help you correct structural imbalances that impact your performance. Chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and posture correction all work together to improve range of motion, reduce pain, and support more efficient movement patterns during your swing.
By combining chiropractic care with your personalized TPI training program, you’ll experience:
- Improved swing mechanics
- Increased clubhead speed and distance
- Reduced risk of injury to the back, shoulders, hips, or wrists
- Faster recovery between rounds
- Better body awareness and long-term performance gains
Who Is This Program For?
The TPI program is ideal for:
- Amateur golfers looking to improve their handicap
- Competitive or collegiate players aiming for peak performance
- Golfers returning from injury who want to prevent re-injury
